Cincinnati Queens Raise $3,500 for One Love Foundation
The Cincinnati Queens, the Cincinnati/Dayton area women's post-collegiate lacrosse team, raised $3,500 for the One Love Foundation during their 3rd Annual One Love Playday in memory of Yeardley Love. The day featured girls' teams from all over southern Ohio competing against each other plus a Cincinnati Queens scrimmage at the end of the event. The Queens helped bring awareness to the rising problem of relationship violence and are helping spread the mission of One Love Foundation. The Queens raised funds through generous raffle and silent auction items, as well as One Love apparel.
