2012 MLL Season: Marshall Burkhart played in eight games during the 2012 season after finishing a stellar college tenure at Johns Hopkins. Burkhart made his MLL debut against the Long Island Lizards (6/16) where he found Jim Connolly for his first career assist. In his third game of the season against the Denver Outlaws (7/4), Burkhart had his first career groundball. In the team's first game against the Hamilton Nationals (7/13), Burkhart recorded three groundballs and a day later (7/14), tallied his second career assist. 2012 Stats:
2013 MLL Season: Marshall Burkhart played against the Denver Outlaws (5/4) in the season home opener. Burkhart played in the second game of the season against the Chesapeake Bayhawks (5/11). Burkhart tallied two groundballs against the New York Lizards (5/18). Bio: Ohio native Marshall Burkhart played in 51 games throughout his four years at Johns Hopkins. Prior to his senior season, Burkhart was named co-captain of the team where his leadership proved valuable to Johns Hopkins as he helped anchor the team’s defense from the midfield position. In his four years, Burkhart totaled nine goals, including an unassisted goal against Denver in the 2011 NCAA Quarterfinals. Before attending Johns Hopkins Burkhart was a stand-out lacrosse player for Dublin Jerome High School in Ohio. At Dublin Jerome, Burkhart had 255 career ground balls and helped lead the team to a state championship.
